Ten solid years in the music industry is no mean feat. However, those WOLF boys have managed to achieve exactly that without too much fuss.
A pure labour of love, the record label was born through a desire to create music ‘For Those That Like To Get Down’. And that they did.
In a digital age of disposable records, Stu Clarke and Matt Neale collected a likeminded roster of producers and, against all the odds, released on vinyl.
To celebrate 10 years, WOLF were approached by film-maker, Paulo Pennings, who said he had a concept for a short documentary about WOLF Music. The result is ‘For Those That Like To Get Down’ - a documentary which is Paulo’s take on the WOLF Music story, and has seen him and his team joining us at various gigs throughout the world, interviewing some of the main protagonists, and sifting through heaps of archive footage shot over 10 years.
Tomorrow, on September 20th 2019, is the premiere screening at The Everyman Cinema, Kings Cross
If you would like to join them for the screening, you’ll find a link to RSVP on their website - wolfmusicrecords.com/…/for-those-that-like-to-get-down-cine…
