Starting out as a DJ at illegal raves in the south west in his teens, Medlar broke onto the UK house scene in 2011 with ‘Terrell’, and in the time since has clocked up dozens of releases and remixes, many of which becoming established presence in the record bags of the world’s top DJs, from DJ Harvey & the Blessed Madonna to Gilles Peterson & Laurent Garnier.

With a sound often bouncing between UK and US strands of house and garage, his more recent work as a mix engineer and producer with other artists has only sharpened his tools, and 2025 will see the busiest release schedule of his career so far, with an album and EPs on various labels, as well as a brand new solo live show.
