Formed in London by Phil Passera, PAYFONE have built up a dedicated following since their 2013 debut vinyl release ‘International Smark’.

With their Balearic analogue boogie sound, PAYFONE have amassed a back catalogue of releases on respected labels such as Golf Channel Records (NYC), Leng and Defected.

2022’s ‘I Feel You’ was named Phonica Records single of the year. Songs such as ‘Paradise’ & ‘ Last Night in Sant Celoni’ continue to push their streaming figures into the 20m+ range.

Over the past decade Passera has DJ’d across the globe in cities such as New York, São Paulo, Auckland, London, Paris, Oslo & Barcelona.

2025 saw the release of their debut album ‘Lunch’ on the groups own OTIS RECORDS imprint.

Andy Weatherall (RIP), DJ Harvey, Roisin Murphy, Jo Goddard and Massive Attack’s Daddy G count among their fanbase.

Now based in Barcelona, and with the addition of new full time member April Pittman (NYC), PAYFONE have spent the summer of 2026 so far performing as a live DJ + vocal duo with regular slots at the famous Pikes Hotel Ibiza.

PAYFONE’s next release ‘Later Lady’ is due out in October on OTIS RECORDS, with their second album due to follow in June 2027.
